STORY

Northern Bikes began as a part of the original Sports North store that arrived in Atherton in 2002. After a few years the owner Steve Shave, realized that the bike division was quickly outgrowing it's space. In 2010 the bicycle part of Sports North moved to the current location and became Northern Bikes.

The shop was purchased by Bikes Up North Pty Ltd in 2021 with the goal to continue and grow from the success it had seen previously. We bring with us a long history in the bicycle industry, and have worked alongside the top cycling companies both domestically and internationally.

And for the future? Expect BIG things from this little store!

What is your return policy?

We are happy to offer a full refund on regular stocked items if you are unhappy with your purchase, or have simply changed your mind. Please ensure returns are lodged with 30 days of the purchase date, and the product is returned complete and unused.

Please note we do not offer any returns on special order items as these are not part of our regular shop stocking.

Do you offer rentals?

Due to the current restrictions on bike availability, we are not offering any demo or rental bikes. As we get more bikes, and production has caught up with our customer orders, we will offer a new rental program hopefully in 2023. Stay Tuned!

Do you sell your products online?

Yes! You can browse products on our Locally page, and make purchases. At this stage all of our products are for Click & Collect in store only - we do not offer freight on any of our products or services.
